What and Who is Stibby.com?
Both co-owners of WebBizIdeas.com met an individual named “Stibby” in college. He was one of those individuals who could walk into a room and everyone would know him in about 5 minutes. His charismatic attitude seemed to draw attention to anything & everything he did; which was always unique.
Stibby could start a small concert in the middle of a party (probably wasn't invited), Stibby would show up to parties in gangster gear, Stibby and his friends would go to events and become friends with random people, Stibby would have a blast at concerts, Stibby would host wild costume parties, and more costume parties, and of course he had a close group of friendsthat enjoyed hanging out with him.
Sibby eventually lived with the Co-Owners of WebBizIdeas for a while in Minneapolis when the company was just getting stated. We both got to know him very well. One day we were having an all you can eat chicken wing contest at a local bar when the idea of Stibby.com evolved.
We wanted to capture the life of “Stibby” in a brand / business/ website. We wanted to sell clothes that Stibby bought, list parties & events that Stibby went to, and build a large community of people who would always ask the question, “What should we do tonight.”. Maybe was us trying to hold onto college, I am sure a million people have thought of the same idea, but I still don't know of any mainstream site to go to like this
Living with Stibby was never boring. During that time we were attending Badger games where he would get 30-40 of his friends in for free, parties that had motorcycles literally driving through a house, stayed in a casino suite for free because he won a Texas Holdem tournament online, and countless costume parties that didn’t end >
